AMCM's Boss 429 Wins Pony Class at Amelia
We were honored to participate in this year’s Amelia Concours, where the American Muscle Car Museum presented two outstanding examples in the Pony Car class.
Representing the collection were the 1969 AMC AMX Riverside 500 Special and the 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 in Grabber Green, each reflecting an important chapter in the history of American high-performance automobiles.
Following judging, the Boss 429 was awarded First in Class, a distinction that recognizes both the model's significance and the quality of its preservation. Our Boss 429 is an MCA National Gold Award and Thoroughbred Award Winner, and is a numbers-matching example with just over 5,000 original miles. AMCM's Ryan Colin drove the car onto the awards stage and accepted the honor on behalf of the museum.
We extend our sincere thanks to the concours organizers, judges, and volunteers who make this event possible each year. Thanks as well to all our friends over at Hagerty for their hard work and help throughout the entire weekend. We are grateful for the opportunity to share these remarkable cars alongside so many exceptional automobiles from around the world.
