Ford Racing and the 2026 Rolex 24 at Daytona
The 2026 Rolex 24 at Daytona kicked off on Saturday, January 24th at 1:40 PM and ran a full 24 hours until Sunday, January 25th. Sixty cars across four different classes took to the 3.5-plus-mile road course, ultimately covering thousands of miles in one of the most demanding endurance races in the world.
While temperatures stayed comfortable through the night, dense fog rolled in just before 1 AM, starting a full-course caution that lasted more than six and a half hours, which was the longest continuous caution period in Rolex 24 history.

While we would have loved to report another double-podium finish for Ford like in 2025, this year proved far more challenging. The No. 65 Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang GT3—driven by Christopher Mies, Frédéric Vervisch, and Sebastian Priaulx—fought to a seventh-place finish in GTD PRO, covering more than 2,300 miles along the way.

The No. 64 Mustang GT3, piloted by Ben Barker, Dennis Olsen, and Mike Rockenfeller, was forced to retire after completing 580 laps—just over 2,000 miles— due to a mechanical issue.

GTD PRO honors ultimately went to the No. 1 Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT3 EVO, which logged an incredible 740 laps, which is roughly the distance from Boston to San Diego, in just 24 hours.
We’d like to thank Ford Racing for welcoming us once again to the race. This was the first year all the AMCM employees were able to attend, and we were thrilled to experience the action up close. Here’s a look at what Ford was up to during the 2026 Rolex 24 at Daytona.
