Video Description

On November 7, 1969, at Ford's Total Performance Day at the Kansas City International Raceway, Ford debuted the 1970 Twister Mustang and Twister Torino. Both of these cars were produced in very limited quantities, with only 96 Grabber Orange Mach 1s and 90 Vermilion Torino Cobras made. Of these 96 Mustang Twisters, half used the 428 Super Cobra Jet, and the remaining half were equipped with the new 351 Cleveland 4V engine. Transmissions available were either a C6 Automatic or a four-speed manual.

In this video, Ed Dedick covers our 428-powered 1970 Ford Mustang Twister Special. It is an outstanding example, with the original drivetrain and multiple national show wins. It is one of the over sixty Mustangs in the American Muscle Car Museum. Check out the video for more.
