Video Description

AMCM's Ed Dedick hits the highlights on the collection's 1980 Chevrolet Corvette. This Vette has a top-of-the-line L82 engine, making 230 horsepower and 275 lbs/ft of torque. As with all 1980 L82 powered Corvettes, it has an automatic transmission and a 3.07 rear end. With a focus on fuel economy, weight was shed throughout the vehicle, while also improving aerodynamics. Today, this car still has only 6 original miles. This is an as-new example of the C3 Corvette. While it isn't the fastest Corvette ever made, it is an important part of the model's history. Check out the video with Ed for more on the 1980 Corvette and our 6-mile example.
