Out from the Pace Car part of the American Muscle Car Museum, we have this 1996 Dodge Viper GTS. This is the first year of the second generation Viper, and the second time the Viper paced the Indy 500. It is also the last non-GM car to pace the race. The new GTS model was the first hardtop Viper offered, now with more horsepower with 450 horsepower on tap from the 8.0L V10. While offering more interior options, the Viper was still driver-focused and pretty minimalistic.
