On Saturday, March 30th, we had our first Scout Day at the museum. Scout from various troops throughout Brevard County and their parents toured the museum in three groups. AMCM's owner Mark Pieloch led the group in the front showroom, Jerry Frye covered the main collection, and Ed Dedick showed off the maintenance shop and grounds. After the tour, scouts had pizza and cookies for lunch followed by a ride around the autocross in a Porsche!
We would really like to thank the Space Coast PCA for helping make the day a success. Their members shared their cars and their time to make the tour extra special. While this wasn't expected, it was greatly appreciated.
Here are some photos from the Scout Day and some of them getting into the Porsches at the end of the tour. Thanks to Kevin Ronayne, Riverside District Executive of the Boy Scouts of America, the Space Coast PCA, and our own AMCM volunteers for all of their efforts to make this day a success.
