The 3rd annual Cars 4 Cops event took place on Sunday, December 15th. Starting at 5pm, the event had tons of great live auction items, many more silent auction items, with all money raised going to benefit the Melbourne SWAT team. The museum also invited those who helped with our Free Veterans Day Open House as a thank you for their participation. Around 400 people gathered to support SWAT and to enjoy the collection. Over $26,000 was raised, with Mark Pieloch donating $10,000 of that amount. Here are some photos of that exciting evening. The Melbourne Police Foundation, especially Clyde Bridge, is passionate and committed to helping our local Melbourne Police. The Melbourne Police Foundation is the only organization authorized to raise funds on behalf of the Melbourne Police Department. We look forward to having them back for an even better event next year.
