Gallery Description

On a chilly Saturday morning, folks gathered at Woodside Park for the grand opening of the new Natural Playground. The new park is located at 1705 Crane Creek Blvd., just next door to the third Pieloch Dog Park. The park has swings, slides, a rope spider web, and tunnels for kids to enjoy including a "pond" with a bridge for fishing. At 11 AM, local officials and those who helped to build the park gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. After some speaking from Rob Dale from Viera East Community Development and AMCM's Mark Pieloch, the ribbon was cut opening the park up for those kids and families in attendance.

We would like to thank the park's major contributors including D. Bell General Contracting, Wharton Smith, LSP Nursery, S & L Lawn Care, Landscape Depot, A. Duda and Sons, Viera East Community Development, John Casey, Natural Playgrounds Company, Lee's Concrete, Brevard Zoo, American Recycled Plastic, and the Space Coast Association of REALTORS. Without the efforts and contributions of these community members wouldn't be possible, so a huge thanks to everyone involved. We look forward to thanking those local volunteers and groups with a private museum open house at a future date.
