The 27th Annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance was held at the Ritz-Carlton on Sunday, March 6th. This is the first year of Hagerty's ownership of the event, now known simply as The Amelia. The museum was happy to again be a part of this amazing event, bringing along our 1957 Mercury Monterey Convertible and competing in the American Limited Production Class. This year we didn't win Best in Class but did receive a Class Award alongside a 1955 Chrysler 300. We placed just behind the Best in Class 1956 Packard Caribbean owned by Warren Wubker, who was a very deserving winner!

The weather was perfect, and the show field was as good as they come. Hagerty did a great job in their first year of ownership of the event, and we hope they have us back again next year. The Best in Show winner was a 1934 Duesenberg Model J Convertible Coupe and the 2017 Cadillac DPi-V.R took the Best in Show for the Concours de Sport. Here are some photos from our experience at the Concours. For more information and for all the class winners, check out AmeliaConcours.com.
