During a break in the rain on Saturday, the Space Coast Electric Vehicle Drivers held a gathering of electric vehicles as part of Drive Electric Earth Day. A few different dozen types of electric vehicles were on hand, from both dealerships and private vehicles. Porsche and Audi of Melbourne brought out their Porsche Taycan and the Audi E-Tron. Arcimoto brought out their electric three-wheeled vehicles, allowing the public to drive or go for a ride. Local Infinity Bike Shop brought out a selection of electrified bicycles to check out. Other EVs on hand included the Fiat 500E, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Volkswagen ID4, Kia EV6, Chevy Bolt, Nissan Leaf, among others.

The Space Coast EV Drivers help answer questions about Electric Vehicles in a comfortable, non-sales-oriented environment where you can talk to real, everyday drivers of EVs. This is their first event at the museum, and we look to have them back next year. This was a free event to attend, with the Museum providing free Lovebugs Bakery muffins and donuts for those in attendance. Glad the rain held off and things happened as planned. Here is a look at the event.
