On Thursday, October 19th, the Brevard County Medical Society gathered for their annual membership meeting here at the museum. Around sixty members gathered, along with the guest speaker, Dr. Doris Newman. She is the Dean of the newly formed Florida Tech and Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. They will have a four-year osteopathic medical school on Florida Tech’s campus in Melbourne, with students enrolling in Fall 2024.
