Over the summer, the museum added two new displays to the eastern part of the main room. Both of these incredible new displays were thanks to Robert Kantor. In addition to being the Editor of the Porsche Club of America Space Coast magazine, he is an accomplished singer-songwriter and the creator of these amazing Kantor Guitars. The second display is the model car display, featuring cars from various makes and models in various scales, many of which are in the museum. Robert generously gave his time to help set up these displays, which are now both available to view in the back showroom of the AMCM.
To celebrate, the AMCM hosted an invitation-only event for the unveiling of the Kantor Guitars display on Friday, November 7th. Friends of Kantor Guitars and the AMCM gathered for a live performance by Villins, followed by the grand reveal of the thirty-six guitar collection. With live music, tasty Urban Prime catering, and a champagne toast, it was an excellent way to celebrate Robert's tremendous contributions to the AMCM.
Huge thanks to Villins for their fantastic performance. It was a very fitting way to kick off the new display, and we appreciate them being a key part of the celebration. For more on this New York City-based band, head over to their website at www.villins.com.
Thanks as well to Frederick and Sophisticated Gents for helping with the live performance. We have had them here at the museum for several events, and they have always provided excellent sound and assistance for some of our more elaborate events.
