Cape Canaveral Lighthouse Foundation Event

On Saturday, November 29th, the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse Foundation held its Keep the Light Shining Fundraiser. This was the fourth time the Lighthouse Foundation has held an event here to raise funds for the 155-year-old lighthouse. Over 150 people gathered for excellent Wild Ocean Seafood Market catering, drinks, silent and live auctions, all to support the charity. Thanks to everyone involved, more than $15k was raised at the event!

 

The Cape Canaveral Lighthouse is owned by the United States Space Force and maintained as an active aid to navigation by the United States Coast Guard. Because of this, visits to the lighthouse, museum, and gift shop are available only through prescheduled tours. More on the lighthouse, and how to see it yourself, can be found here:
