The Great Race - Springfield, Illinois
The starting point for the 2026 Great Race was Springfield, Illinois, where more than 130 teams gathered in Downtown Springfield for tech inspection, the opening ceremony, and the official start of the rally. The cars rolled out from next to the Old State Capitol Building on the morning of Saturday, June 20.
This year’s route follows the old Route 66, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary. From Springfield, the rally continues west toward Pasadena, California, with teams covering nearly 2,300 miles before finishing on Sunday, June 28. Along the way, they will make stops in cities including Joplin, Oklahoma City, Amarillo, Albuquerque, Flagstaff, Laughlin, and San Bernardino.
Everything with our Revology Boss 429 has been going great. The car has already covered more than 2,000 trouble-free miles, with around 5,000 miles planned for the full coast-to-coast trip. As expected, it has been a huge hit everywhere it goes, getting plenty of attention and love along the way. If you don’t see it first, you will definitely hear it.
