Day three took the Great Race rally group from Joplin, Missouri, into Kansas and Oklahoma for more great Route 66 destinations. The route started at the Rainbow Bridge, then continued to Baxter Springs, Kansas, and the Ribbon Road, which was in rough shape. Between the poor road conditions and heavy rain, the cars were definitely starting to show some dirt.
The lunch stop was at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore, Oklahoma, where competitors enjoyed lunch and chili before continuing on to Oklahoma City. The Revology ran without issue. After several thousand miles since the start of the full trip, and around 600 miles since the start of the Great Race, the only thing the Boss 429 needs is more premium gas.
We have been very impressed with the car, and it continues to draw tons of attention wherever it goes. Here is a look at day three.
