This marvelously pristine, low-mileage 1967 427 Sting Ray convertible is one of the very few COPO Corvettes ordered in 1967, in this case to equip the car with a Saddle Leather interior, which was not normally available with its Sunfire Yellow paint; it is in fact believed to be the only big block built with that color pairing. The car boasts a long list of very desirable options and, with only 31,000 miles on the odometer, it retains an unusually high level of originality. The leading feature is the powerful L68 427 Tri-Power engine, distinguished by its trio of Holley 2-barrel carbs and chromed triangular air cleaner. A Powerglide automatic sends the big block’s 400 horses to a 3.36 Positraction unit.

The excellent Saddle Leather interior is fitted with optional headrests and shoulder belts, telescopic steering column and AM/FM radio, while the original exterior extras are just right for a big block mid-year convertible: auxiliary hardtop, factory side exhaust, the original set of five aluminum bolt-on wheels and correct non-D.O.T. Redline tires. Of vital importance to collectors is the car’s fulsome documentation, including the dealer order sheet, original tank sticker, slipper papers, bill of sale, invoice and original owner’s title.
